Ewa K. Strzelecka is a dedicated scholar and experienced writer with a remarkable track record that includes receiving 5 prestigious awards for her research and securing over 15 travel and research grants. Furthermore, she has played pivotal roles as both a (co)applicant and researcher in more than 15 successfully funded research projects.

Prizes​

  • Spanish Association of Political Science (AECPA) Prize for the Best Book Chapter (2019);

  • PhD Prize from the University of Granada (2018);

  • AECPA Proxime Accessit Prize for the Best PhD Thesis (2017); 

  • Politeya Award for the Best Manuscript from the Spanish National Research Council (2016); 

  • Juan J. Linz Proxime Accessit Prize for the Best PhD Thesis from the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies (CEPC), Spanish Ministry of Presidency (2015).

Travel and Research Grants

  • 2003-present: more than 15 travel and research grants, including the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (2021), the EU-funded POWER Fellowship for Visiting Professors at the Silesia University of Katowice (2020), postdoctoral grant for the ERC project CAPSAHARA (2017), the Spanish Ministry of Education grant for secondment to SOAS, University of London (2010), and travel grants for prestigious institutions like Cambridge University (2014) and Harvard University (2017).
